Trying to write a book and our time at Alnwick and Bamburgh Castles.

I haven’t been on WP recently, because I am trying to write a book.

I have about four books in me trying to get out, but I cannot seem to be able to express properly.

When people ask about me, I can verbalise my ‘life story’ fine. When they find out they keep saying that I sould write a book about myself.

I have a’draft’ copy of it, but it seems silly to me. It is just my life. A totally natural thing to me not anything too outstanding, although I am constantly being told that it is.

I envy those who can write a book but as a Sagittarius, I am supposed to be able to do this but it s defeating me and I don’t know wo can help me.

On the bright side, I have been very busy.

My daughter, after sis years attending Japanese school years four and five very reluctantly but with me pushing her and her fatherwanting her to quit) has ‘Graduated’ Shougakkusei 小学生 (Primary School).

It is an emotional time for me, as I now have a child who is free on weekends, but I am proud that she stuck by it and finished with good grades. Her life in learniung the language has stopped for now to let her concentrate on her ‘options’.

On Easter weekend, and in preparation for the Robin of Sherwood Convention in April, I took my family to Northumberland where some of the scenes were filmed back in the 1980’s and also Harry Potter and Downton Abbey were filmed there too.

We had to celebrate last weekend as we both work, but it is a milestone in his/ our life/s.

Happy Birthday, babe.

Can’t wait for the next forty years.

New challenges

I spent the last few days looking for my next step.

3rd March was Hina Sama No Hi in Japan, so we celebrated it in honour of my daughter.

5th March awas at a Govenor’s Conference for Schools. It was about teaching more about Culture’s and languages and how to equipt the next generation to be more productive and be better communicator’s in other languages.

6th arch was Mother’s Day. My lot forgot about me, but we went to Grandma’s to celebrate it with her.

7th Narch I went to Londonofr the Japanese Teacher’s Conference.

It was about introducing the language into schools and sharing best practice.

I always wanted to captialise on my skill and now I know where my next step is.

Watch this space.

Robin of Sherwood now being put on audio.

20160301_221234I am a Robin of Sherwood geek and proud of it. Back from 1983 – 1985, this series captured my heart and I met all of the cast from it.

Two years ago I went to a Convention and met most of them again. Next month another one is coming and I willbe meeting them again.

At the moment the cast are/have been recording what would have been Series 4 and there are alot of us fans that are REALLY excited about this.

I have added a link to the crowdfunding that has helped to make this happen.

Nothing’s forgotten, nothing’s ever forgotten.

Blessed be.
